Guide to Spectating FAQ

Looking to learn more about spectating at our Island 200 Indoor Velodrome? Check out some of the frequently asked questions below. If you have any additional questions, contact us

1. What is a velodrome?

In short, a velodrome is a track cycling arena. Typically, velodromes contain an oval track that consists of 2 180 degree bends that are connected by 2 longer straights. The banking edges can vary in degrees. At Island 200, our banking is 45 degrees. The banking allows riders to keep their bikes perpendicular to the track as they circle around the oval at a high speed.

2. Can I purchase tickets at the door?

Yes, tickets will be available at the door.

3. Can I pre-purchase tickets online?

At this point, tickets are not available online. However, we are working on this technology, and tickets will be available online in the near future.

4. How much are tickets to a race?

Ticket prices vary depending on the race. Ticket pricing will become available closer to the grand opening.

5. Do you sell season passes or special ticket packages?

We are still solidifying specific packages; we will make these available as soon as we have the information available.

6. How many seats are in the velodrome?

Island 200 is a great family affair. It is a unique adventure that will keep the kids energized and enthusiastic. Root on your favorite racer, or cheer for a friend or family member as they race through the incredible 45 degree angles. The fast-paced nature of the races will keep the whole family engaged. Plus, at Island 200, we have concessions as well as official Island 200 gear to complete the trip.
